The training school in Via Giardini, opened in 2011 with a Master’s course, has made a name for itself in recent years as a real centre of production and experimentation.

Recognized on a national and international level, the Fondazione Fotografia Modena school of advanced training in contemporary imagery enables students to have an educational experience working fully within the artistic sector and developing their personal research through constant comparison with some of the leading players in the Italian and international photography scene.

The school boasts all of the facilities necessary for developing one’s own work: a computer lab, an equipped posing room, a camera obscures, a specialised library and video library, as well as an exhibition atelier available for staging exhibitions and new events.
