Quality assurance made easy

RWTH Aachen University Hospital uses various models from the EIZO RadiForce series in a wide range of applications - from nuclear medicine to mammography. The university hospital uses the EIZO software solutions RadiCS and RadiNet Pro for quality assurance of the RadiForce monitors.

Decision for EIZO

In 2017, the university hospital opted for solutions from EIZO. The decisive criteria were the range of large-format displays, the quality of the products, the 5-year warranty including on-site replacement service and the option of using the RadiCS and RadiNet Pro quality assurance software. Another argument for the decision and the long-term loyalty to EIZO is the excellent customer service. Andreas Ritter, Project Management Radiology IT and Team Leader Device Development, Clinic for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, reports: "I particularly appreciate the fact that I always have the same personal contacts who know our clinic and its needs. That is very helpful."

Advantages of RadiNet Pro

RadiNet Pro enables the central remote management of all imaging systems (including workstation, graphics card and monitors) with RadiCS software installed via the hospital network. By using RadiNet Pro, IT and medical technology at the university hospital can see centrally where which monitor is located and what its runtime and serial number are.

Central remote management

Thanks to the alarm function for aborted or failed quality assurance tasks, you can react immediately to these events and act accordingly. This provides complete documentation of the daily visual inspection. All inspections are immediately synchronized with the RadiNet Pro server so that all reports are centrally accessible from any client PC findings monitor at any time. This significantly reduces the time and effort required. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Ritter emphasizes: "In addition, the possibility of operating the quality assurance of the monitors via our clinic's own server was also absolutely relevant for our decision in favor of EIZO. Because RadiNet Pro offers this option."

Exemplary representation: the daily check of the client PCs is visualized in a computer/monitor list and as statistics

Conclusion

The EIZO RadiForce monitors and the RadiCS and RadiNet Pro software solutions have proven their worth at RWTH Aachen University Hospital. The efficient quality assurance with RadiNet Pro makes the work of IT and medical technology much easier.

The update routine from the RadiNet Pro server to the RadiCS clients is worth its weight in gold. You don't want devices and software for their own sake, but because you don't have to worry about them. And the good service and personal contacts round off the EIZO offer for us.
