SGX0031 DuraVision

The SGX0031 streaming gateway box transmits videos from IP cameras for live display. It uses RTSP or SRT protocols to ensure stable transmission even over networks with limited bandwidth or unstable connections. RTP transmission is also supported for flexible integration.

The SGX0031 (transcoder/transmitter) can be integrated into EIZO's IP decoding solutions (receivers), including 23-inch and 27-inch monitors and IP decoding boxes for flexible use.

Transmit multiple streams as a single data stream

In merge mode, video streams from multiple IP cameras are merged as a single video stream. This significantly reduces network traffic compared to separate streams, while maintaining stream quality. The merged stream is output as RTSP or SRT to ensure stable transmission.

Transmission with short latency

A low-latency mode compensates for delays caused by the processing time required to recode multiple streams in merge mode. This reduces latency by approximately 75%. The result is near real-time display, even when processing multiple video feeds. This creates a reliable system for applications with high response time requirements, such as remote control of devices and machines in construction or infrastructure maintenance, where timing and precision are critical.

Screen layout of your choice

ImIn merge mode, you can choose from various standard video stream layouts (1, 3, 4, 9, 16, 32, 8 (7+1) windows) or create your own layout. With the custom layout settings, you can merge or split windows and display videos in their original aspect ratio or stretched to full screen.*

In relay mode, the SGX0031 processes incoming video streams and forwards them to the designated playback environments. This relieves the cameras of transmission tasks, optimizing the overall performance of the system. This is particularly valuable in large-scale implementations where high network reliability is critical.

The SGX0031 supports ONVIF® Profile S, AXIS® VAPIX®, Panasonic, and i-PRO protocols, ensuring flexible installation and interoperability with a wide range of cameras. In addition, a direct RTSP connection (Direct URI) is available for simplified access to live video feeds.

The SGX0031 supports SNMP v1 and v2c, enabling communication with network management systems to exchange status and performance information.

The DuraVision SGX0031 offers noiseless, fan-less operation while maintaining low heat output for long-term reliability. The top of the box is designed so that heat escapes efficiently, keeping it cool even during long periods of operation.

The DuraVision SGX0031  is equipped with a PoE+ hub, which means it is powered without a power supply unit or cables. This keeps the installation area tidy. An optional power supply unit is available for environments where PoE+ is not supported.

EIZO grants a two-year warranty. This is possible thanks to the highly developed production process based on a simple principle of success: sophisticated and innovative technology, made from high-end materials.

The SGX0031 is built for 24-hour use and is characterised by maximum reliability.

The SGX0031 is designed for a long service life that takes into account the entire lifecycle and impact on the environment. It is generally well above the five-year guarantee. Spare parts are available up to five years after the end of production. The monitor’s long service life and the ability to repair it save resources and the climate. When designing the SGX0031 we paid attention to reducing resource consumption by using high-quality components and materials and being meticulous in production.

The SGX0031 is produced in a socially responsible way. It is free of child labour and forced labour. Suppliers along the supply chain have been carefully selected and they have also committed themselves to produce in a socially responsible way. This applies in particular to conflict minerals. We present a detailed report about our social responsibility annually and voluntarily.

Each SGX0031 is manufactured in our own factory, which implements an environmental and energy management system in accordance with ISO 14001 und ISO 50001. This includes measures to reduce waste, wastewater and emissions, resource and energy consumption, as well as to encourage environmentally conscious behavior among employees. We publicly report on these measures on an annual basis.
