EIZO Corporation today announced the world’s first 7-year warranty¹ for select models in the FlexScan EV Series of business monitors, further strengthening the company’s long-standing leadership in product reliability, sustainability, and long-term value.

As global IT investment cycles lengthen and organizations place greater emphasis on sustainability, demand continues to grow for equipment that can remain in use for many years. Frequent device replacement disrupts workflows, increases lifecycle costs, and heightens environmental impact through additional resource consumption and waste. The new 7-year warranty supports longer product lifespans, helping reduce TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) while contributing to more sustainable use over the product’s life.

EIZO considers long-term usability itself to be a core product value, and its ability to offer a warranty of this length stems from its commitment to in-house product development and rigorous quality assurance. Every step, from component selection and circuitry design to manufacturing and quality control, is carried out internally under a framework built for long-term stability. Products undergo extensive testing and evaluation to ensure consistent performance throughout years of continuous operation, minimizing the need for premature replacement.

For more than 20 years, EIZO has set the industry benchmark by introducing the first 5‑year warranty for monitors in the FlexScan EV Series. Insights accumulated through these decades of manufacturing, global support operations, and analysis of repair history are continuously fed back into EIZO’s product development process. This ongoing refinement has resulted in monitors with exceptional reliability, forming the foundation that makes the 7-year warranty possible.

The 7-year warranty applies retroactively to four previously released FlexScan EV Series models and two new models launching today. All future EV Series monitors will also include the 7-year warranty at release.
