EIZO Corporation today announced it has earned the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the second consecutive year, placing EIZO among the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies assessed worldwide.
EcoVadis is one of the world's leading providers of business sustainability ratings, evaluating companies across four core themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The platform is widely used by organizations to assess suppliers and support responsible procurement across supply chains.
As sustainability requirements become increasingly integrated into supplier selection worldwide, independent sustainability ratings are playing a growing role in procurement and supply chain decisions.
EIZO improved its overall EcoVadis score from 84 to 88 points, reflecting significant progress in Environment and Ethics while maintaining strong performance in the other themes. The improved score reflects EIZO's continued efforts to strengthen governance, enhance global management systems, and expand transparent ESG disclosure.
Earning the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for a second consecutive year demonstrates that sustainability is embedded in EIZO's business strategy and operations through continuous improvement rather than one-time initiatives. The independent assessment further reinforces EIZO's position as a trusted supplier and long-term business partner for customers that increasingly integrate ESG considerations into supplier qualification, procurement, and supply chain risk management.
"Customers around the world increasingly expect suppliers to demonstrate measurable ESG performance. Achieving EcoVadis Platinum for the second consecutive year independently validates the governance, management systems, and culture of continuous improvement that underpin our business,” said Masaki Ebisu, President & CEO of EIZO Corporation. “We remain committed to delivering trusted products and responsible business practices that create long-term value for our customers, shareholders, employees, and society.”
Guided by its corporate philosophy of ‘Enriching Future Society Through Imaging Technology’, EIZO integrates sustainability into every aspect of its business. The company advances initiatives to address climate change, promote resource efficiency and a circular economy, respect human rights, strengthen diversity and inclusion, uphold ethical and transparent governance, and enhance responsible supply chain management.
As customer expectations and regulatory requirements continue to evolve, EIZO remains committed to advancing its sustainability performance and supporting customers in achieving their own sustainability objectives through responsible products, business practices, and long-term partnerships. This recognition further reinforces EIZO's ability to support customers' responsible procurement goals and help customers build more resilient and sustainable supply chains.
