EIZO presents the 31.5-inch and 27-inch 4K monitors EV3240X and EV2740X with USB-C connectivity and stunningly sharp images that perfect modern work.

The Japanese manufacturer of high-end monitors EIZO presents two 4K models of the latest FlexScan generation. The EV3240X (31.5 inch) and EV2740X (27 inch) business monitors impress with a virtually frameless design, 4K UHD resolution and USB Type-C connectivity for the modern workplace. Exemplary ergonomics, significant energy savings and exemplary sustainability position the models as the ideal solution for the professional work environment.

EV3240X and EV2740X offer 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), displaying four times the amount of information compared to standard Full HD (1,920 x 1,080). This allows multiple applications to be displayed simultaneously in higher quality on one monitor. The pixel density of 140 ppi (pixels per inch), or 163 ppi, ensures that even the smallest fonts and symbols are displayed crisply, legibly and in detail.

Modern laptops are increasingly compact due to the focus on mobile working, so they often only offer a limited selection of connection options. EIZO therefore equips the EV3240X and EV2740X as USB-C docking. Both monitors have a dedicated LAN port for a stable network connection. In addition, three USB-A and one USB-C downstream port are available for peripherals such as keyboard, mouse and webcam. Connected computers are supplied with 94 watts of charging current. The heat generated in the process is dissipated by means of unobtrusive ventilation slots on the back. For video conferencing, either the two built-in 2-watt speakers or the side connections for external speakers can be used.

Thanks to their sustainable product design and manufacturing, the EV3240X and EV2740X models have achieved the EPEAT (Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool) gold award. The use of 80% recycled plastic and the energy-efficient LCD panel are noteworthy, as both models conserve important resources. This not only saves valuable energy, but also money in the long run. Furthermore, they are certified according to global sustainability standards such as TCO Certified Generation 9 and ENERGY STAR.  

In addition, EIZO has decided to do without plastic in the product packaging. This means that instead of the usual polystyrene, recycled cellulose provides a secure transport cushion for technology and accessories. The latter is packed in cellulose cloths instead of plastic bags.
